Swimming Gala

Today our year 4,5 and 6 pupils took part in Tameside's Swimming Gala. We came 5th place, which is amazing and even pipped a 1st place in the odd race. Well done to our stars - we are very proud of you!

Thank you to Findel Education for their hard working making our veggie patches. They look amazing. Thank you to our Eco-Leaders too, who spent the day digging and planting. Hopefully we should gets some vegetables through and we can start cooking.
Can you guess the planet?
During our SATs morning breakfast we found a shape that looked like a planet. Can you guess it? Yes - it is Saturn in our rice crispies! Made all year 6 laugh.
A right royal day had by all...

We have had the best day celebrating the King's Coronation - the weather turned wet at one point, so we had to do our parties inside. Typical British weather. However, we had a fleeting visit from HRH and our children asked the funniest questions. Thank you to our kitchen for making yummy treats too.
