Amber have won the House Team Points for spring term. Well done Amber - you have been so impressive all term and have worked incredibly hard to achieve your rewards. On Friday 31st March, you will receive a special non-uniform day for your efforts. Good luck to the other teams next term - you can do it!

Comedy Night Success

Thank everyone for your hard work making our first PTFA Comedy Night a success. Thank you especially Mr Andrews and Dukinfield Golf Club for their hard work and support. It was a great evening and the comedians were just brilliant. We will plan many more fun nights with different themes over the next year. We raised over £500 on the raffle alone and this will go to building up our KS2 collection of reading books. We will share our overall total once this has been calculated.Thank you again - hope to see you for our next event on Thursday after-school.

Gold Food4Life

I am pleased to be able to announce that we have achieved our 'Gold' Food4Life Schools award.

I appreciate the time and effort you as parents and pupils and staff have put into ensuring compliance with the School Food Standards as well as creating a positive healthy lifestyle atmosphere. Huge congratulations on achieving the ‘GOLD’ level of the award!

Let Girls Play

We want girls to play football!

It’s time to take a stand, to make a difference.

Girls are an unstoppable force for good if they’re given the chance. The chance to play football.

They want to play in the school curriculum, at breaktime, after school, at local clubs – wherever, whenever they want. No barriers, no stereotypes. Let Girls Play.

E-Safety / Competition Winners

Our pupil leaders have chosen 6 brilliant winners of our E-Safety Competition. They looked at how social media affects mental health and what we can do to improve this. We had many entries from across school and it was very difficult to decide. Well done everyone.

Pupil Leaders meet Governors

Today our pupil leaders met our Chair and Vice Chair of Governors. They discussed current themes in school, shared the policies they have been working on and asked our governors some questions. We are planning a question and answer session in the next few months.
