Another great week in Year 5 for Awards! Headteacher's certificates were given for being a great role model and for using their Maths skills. Good to be Green awards for followng our school rules and this half term's Vocabulary Ninja certificate were also awarded. Year 3 have learnt about Branching Databases they've explored sorting fruits using questions and then made their own branching databases on paper and using 2question on Purple Mash.

To continue with our micro:bit playground survey, today we coded the micro:bits to calculate the average step distance multiplied by the number of steps to work out the area of different parts of our playground. We will then add all of these compound areas together to give us a combined area in squared meters. The children are really enjoying their coding.
