We have lots of fruit and vegetables growing in our garden area. Lettuce, carrots, broad beans, strawberries, rasberries and a range of herbs. We can't wait to taste them! Gardening club have been busy weeding the other garden areas around school and taking pictures of the lovely flowers.

Media cubs visited Year 3 today.
Media cubs is a Greater Manchester based pop up TV studio and newsroom. They've teamed up with The Happy Newspaper to give children the chance to have their own say on the news and learn new media skills.
Children discussed newspapers and interesting article, they worked cooperatively and shared ideas. They discussed roles such as presenters, directors, camera person and actors and took part in these roles within the classroom. A very enjoyable afternoon learning new information about Media.

During Summer 1, Year 3 are going to be learning all about Greece and Greek food. As part of history they'll learn about Ancient Greeks including the Olympics and how important the Gods were.
Which Gods were important?Which Ancient Greek sports are still around in today's Olympics?
Year 3 see if you can make a museum piece for homework, we look forward to see everyone's home learning.
