Dear All,

I do hope you've all had a fabulous Christmas holiday, and the children are raring for the new term in Year 4. This half term starts off with our Mysteries Topic. The children will be inspired by our Secret Lake class text and be investigating about Scottish Myths, The Loch Ness Monster, Bermuda Triangle and the Flannan Isles. This learning will be enhanced by our science topic of Electricity and an electrical coding workshop on the 22nd January.  Inspiring, home learning projects of a mystery cake design will really put their creative mind to the test as well. 

Throughout this term we will continue with the children learning to play the penny whistles and swimming on Thursdays, which starts back on the 4th January.  Further indoor PE lessons will be on Tuesday where the children will be learning gymnastics. Please find attached the Medium Term Plan and Home Learning Grid for Spring Term 1.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me on Seesaw or send an email to admin@broadbentfold.tameside.sch.uk
