Y6 Mayan ebook

Have a read of this information book about the ancient civilisation of the Mayans.

We will be using this over the next couple of weeks in some of our reading lessons in school.

Make a list of any unfamilar vocabulary- can you write what some of the words mean?

Year 6 home learning- 22nd June

Our new topic for the half term is 'Why were the Mayans marvellous?' A lot of the home learning will have links to this topic over the next few weeks. If you have returned to school today then please feel free to do some of these activities as extra homework. If you are still working from home please complete as many of the activities as you can.

Please make sure that you continue to read at home as much as possible- please let me see more of you accessing bug club at home.

I hope all of you returning have a great first week back :)

Abel's Amazing Work

Abel has been working really hard with his home learning this week. He has been learning how to add coins together by playing in the fantastic shop and cafe his Mummy set up. I think I might have to come visit aswell Abel, it all looks yummy! He has also created his own balanced lunch, dinner and desert and helped to make his family tuna and cucumber pasta for dinner. Abel has been working really hard on his reading comprehension skills and has thought of some great idea for what might happen next in our toy adventure story.
