Year 4 Wednesday's Home Learning creations

Well done to Reuben!  He was busy yesterday doing Maths and learning more about fractions from the White Rose link.  Great work Reueben!  I am also impressed with Sophie and Brooke who have made these amazing Tudor houses!  They could make a Tudor village with these!

Meanwhile, I have received an update from Annabelle - she has been busy doing Maths and is ready to read The Twits and answer some questions about the story.  As you can see, she has also created a fanatastic poster about Teeth!  Well done!

Year 4 Tudor Home Learning

I am impressed with Scarlett's research on King Henry VIII's ship The Mary Rose!  Lovely work.  Well done also to Bradley who has created an amazing portrait of King Edward VI and a great poster on Healthy Teeth!   Thank you.  Mrs Blomeley

Year 4 Tuesday's Home Learning Creations

I have received more work from home today from Maisie-Lou!  Her mum tells me how busy she has been, which you can see from the photographs above!  A lovely portrait of a rich Tudor girl (I love those jewels!) and a Tudor Rose, with some information pages she has written when she linked up to Chester Zoo last week.  She has also been keeping a daily diary of her time in isolation, thinking how iinteresting it will be to look at in years to come.

Stay Active Board Game

Here is a fun game you can play with all the family. It has the same rules as snakes and ladders but if you land on a 'points' square, the person whose turn it is next has to give you an activity to do, if you land on a school games mark, choose a card at random to see what your activity is.

Have fun and keep safe!

Year 4 Home Learning for week commencing 30th March

Here is the Home Learning grid and activities for this week.  I hope you enjoy reading the next chapter of Diver's Daughter!  I am working on the next chapter right now!

Home Learning - Bingo!

What a great idea! We've just received this photo from Brooke, Sophie and Chloe's mum.  They’ve been playing maths bingo - instead of calling the numbers, mum said them as either a multiplication, division, addition or subtraction, and the girls had to work out the answers.   Great home learning mum and girls!  Thank you.  Mrs Blomeley and Miss Harvey

Stay Active Challenge

During the lock down period, it is important that we all try to stay as active as possible. Here is a 60 second challenge that you could complete as a little competition with your families.
