Broadbent Fold were lucky to be able to attend the action sports festival at Graystone Action Park, Salford. The pupils got to experience scootering, trampolining, skateboarding, the cliff drop and many more activities.
Some of our Year 3 pupils went to compete in a volleyball competition against pupils in Years 3-6. They had some brilliant games and worked well as a team. Well done to Aaron gettin volleyballer of the day and Heidi getting a school games badge for passion.

Broadbent Fold were very lucky today to have ITV news come to our school to video some of the Little Rockies boxing afterschool club for a piece on Tyson Fury. They interviewed some of the children and videoed them working on their fitness and boxing skills that they have been learning over the last 6 weeks. It will be aired tonight at 6pm on Granada Reports, ITV News.
A fantastic match this evening against Waterloo with Broadbent Fold winning the game 15-1. Well done to all that played in very muddy conditions.

On Saturday, lots of children and their parents braved the cold for the Primary Cross Country Championships. All the children ran amazingly and did Broadbent Fold proud. A special congratulations to Oliver and Liam in Year 6 who have been selected to represent Tameside in the Greater Manchester Cross Country Championships this Saturday.
