Year 6 made a 3D police car in the DT department this morning using cutting and folding skills. We then used a Crumble Coding Kit to make our police sirens flash in different colours.

Congratulations to our stars of week. The certificates were awarded for fantastic knowledge in History and brilliant work in Maths. We also had to Good to be Green lottery winners.
A fantastic start to the new term with our merits today.
This morning we have learning how to control our ball around the cones using little touches. Great skills everyone!
Some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils loved taking part in the Panathlon ten pin bowling competition this morning where they came 3rd out of 10 schools! Daniel got a special award for scoring over 100 - he scored 107 points. Well done to everyone who took part!
Year 4 got the chance to set up their experiment today to see how sugary drinks affect their teeth. They used eggs to represent teeth and will be comparing those placed in water, milk, vinegar, orange juice and coke, with and without toothpaste. Keep checking our blogs for the results.
Year 4 have been working hard in understanding fractions and applied their knowledge today when they ordered fraction cards. They found it quite a challenge, especially with different shapes and sizes.
Well done to our Spring 2 handwriting winners! You have been awarded with your handwritng pencil and certificate for your amazing, neat presentation or for great effort and improvement in your handwriting.

All of their wonderful handwriting has been proudly displayed outside Mrs Parker's room.
Year 4 had lots of fun examining their teeth in science. They were able to identify how many teeth they had and how many they'd lost, alongside naming and understanding the function of their teeth.
