Behaviour Policy

Thank you to all Broadbent Fold pupils for starting the year so well. Our new behaviour system is working very effectively.

Our values are to be:

Ready

Respectful

Safe

Pupils know these already and are receiving stars for displaying excellent standards in behaviour. I would specifically like to thank Daniel Swift for sharing in assembly that he has discussed the policy at home with his mum. This is great to hear!

Message from Macmillan...

There are millions of reasons to celebrate!

This December, we’re celebrating more than just Christmas. Your generous Coffee Morning donations have been totted up, and we’re so pleased to announce that the 2019 running total is £26,919,140!

A huge thank you to you and all your staff, pupils and guests at Broadbent Fold Primary School for being part of Coffee Morning again this year, we simply couldn’t have done it without you all.

A special thank you to Mrs Butler for her organisation and support.

Merry Christmas!

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and here's to a happy and healthy 2020!Thank you to the Broadbent Fold Staff for their continued hard work and for the gifts they have sent to the Children's Ward at Tameside Hospital. Just wonderful!

Thank you!

What a turn out to our Christmas Fair. Thank you all for your attendance, it was truly magical. Thank you to staff and our PTFA for your time and effort. It was truly appreciated!

Family Cooking Event

What a fantatsic time the children have had with the Children's Nutrition Team cooking with their families over the last three weeks. Well done folks.

Pupil Questionnaires

Our pupils have completed their own questionnaire about life at Broadbent Fold. Please see the pupil section of the website, for the full details. The results are very positive and show that pupils are happy and feel safe. The two areas of focus for us are:

  • Ensuring they feel challenged.
  • That behaviour of other pupils improves.

I am meeting with our pupil leadership team to discuss these issues and look at developments with pupil support. I shall keep you all informed.

Football Champions

Thank you to our year 6 football stars! We attended an event today at the Etihad and we truly displayed huge amounts of passion and teamwork. I was bursting with pride. Well done to you all and especially to Captain Riley, your leadership skills shone through!

Super learner!

I just wanted to say a huge well done to Isaac Inglis. Who has been producing outstanding work at home and school. I have loved seeing your writing and the amazing pictures of your family. You should be very proud!

Christmas Card Competition.

Our Pupil Leadership Team have been working with Councillor John Taylor to create a wonderful card for Dukinfield residents. They did an amazing job and I would like to thank Luca Ovenden-Edwards and Alex Cragg for their hard work choosing the winners. Two winners from each class will receive a prize, but the overall winner is Harriet Stafford in Year 5. Her drawing of Dukinfield Town Hall was magical. Keep an eye out of the card being sent to homes and for the Reporter newspaper, where her success will be celebrated.
