Have a lovely Christmas Year 6 :)

We have made some fantastic board games. The children worked collaboratively to design a game based on their research. They then received market research from their peers before deciding on a game to make.

The end results are fantastic!!

Year 6 have worked really hard on their adventure stories over the past few weeks. They have made prequels or sequels for a text class we have read called 'Dinosaur Island.' The children have published their final drafts and we are hoping to share them with another class in the new year.

Well done to the Year 5 "Santa Team" who came 4th place in a Sports Quiz with 38 points! Year 6 came 3rd, with 39 points, it was a great afternoon with lots of Tameside primary schools taking part. 

Christmas jumpers!  Santa Dash!  Christmas Dinner! What a fun day Year 4 had!  We finished with a Christmas Fair in the classroom, making crafts and decorating gingerbread men as well as winning prizes doing Lucky Dip and Tombola!  Thank you to all the parents who donated prizes and to the PTFA for helping to organise this.  Mrs Blomeley

Year 3 had a brilliant day! First we completed Santa Dash. Then we learnt about Save the Children Charity that holds a Christmas Jumper Day every year to help children around the world stay safe, healthy and keep learning. After a busy morning, it was time for our festive Christmas dinner. It was delicious! In the afternoon we had Christmas fair in our classroom. We decorated a ginerbread man and  had a go at tombola and lucky dip. Everyone got a prize!

Year 2 made amazing snowman hats for their Christmas dinner and ate lots of delicious food - even sprouts!

Year 1 enjoyed their delicious Christmas dinner today in their reindeer hats and had lots of fun pulling all the crackers.

We had lots of fun doing the Santa Dash in our Christmas jumpers, antlers and Christmas hats. 

Year 6 have had a very festive day. They had their Santa dash this morning; then they had their Christmas dinner; and to finish off we had our Christmas Fair with a Tombola, Lucky Dip, Name the Bear and Decortate the Gingerbread Man. We had lots of lucky winners.
