Some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils took part in a basketball competition at Astley tonight playing games again Arlies, Cannon Burrows, St John's, Inspire and Our Lady's. They really improved as a team thorough the matches and definitely played their best games last. They showed brilliant dribbling, passing and shooting skills. Well done everyone!

Today Year 4 have been doing yoga and it's really relaxing. They have been practising the downward dog, the bridge, mountain, tree and child poses. My favourite one is the baby poses. From Jacob Walker

Royalty came to Y4 today with our reinactment of the knighting of Sir Francis Drake and Lord Howard after they defeated The Spanish Armada. 

It looks like we're onto having cabbage pottage today! I can't wait to try this one.

We went on a very muddy spring walk to spot the signs of spring. We found buds on trees, daffodils, bluebells and birds and their nests.

We loved our visit from Zoo2U. They brought lots of different African animals for us to hold and learn about. 

We had an amazing time at the Science Fair. Well done Year 4!

We had a great time celebrating World Book Day. we dressed as our favourite character and shared our books with our friends.

Year 4 have been combining their knowledge of the attack of the Spanish Armada and how to make an iMotion movie by recreating the famous battle scenes. They have been working really hard in groups to create their movies. I'm really impressed by their sequencing skills and their ingenuity, especially when it came to them figuring out different ways to move the boats around the British Isles. Great work Year 4.
