Home Learning Week Beginning 1st February

Hi Year 1,

You have all been really impressing me with all your hard work and learning from home. I have attached the home learning for this week. This week is Children's Mental Health Week so there are a few activities around this. I cannot wait to see all of your learning through Seesaw.

Y6 Stars of the week 29-1-21

I am so impressed with everybody in school and at home who are working so hard. Keep up all of your efforts Year 6.

This week the stars of the week are Aidan and Amelia.

Aidan's enthusiasm and hard work over the last week has been really incredible. I am impressed with all of the work that you have produced Aidan. Well done.

Amelia joins in with the remote learning well following the lessons carefully and participating well. I have been very impressed with your maths work in particular.

Congratulations to you both.

Year 5 Home Learning Week Beginning 1st February

Dear Year 5,

Welcome to another week of home learning. I'm hoping that you and your families are all still well and motivated. This week we are continuing with our mountain theme but it's time to get creative too. Check out our zoom sessions every morning for maths and English sessions and use the afternoon to make a 3D mountain, find out about extreme animals and look after your mental health.

I look forward to seeing you all on Monday at 9:20

Take good care

Ms McCoy

Y6 Home Learning Grid 1st February

Well done to everybody who continues to work hard in school and at home. I am missing us being together as a class so much and I really enjoy seeing so many of you through our Zoom sessions.

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week and so I thought it would be nice to hold a mini ‘Y6 has talent’.

On Friday you will all have the opportunity to share some positive talents to cheer everybody up.

Home learning grid 1st February 2021

Year 3, we are so proud of all the children at home completing their home school learning. We have enjoyed seeing them on our Zoom sessions.

We have attached the learning grid for 1st February.  If children have missed stages in the maths for example, it is worth looking back and completing those tasks first.

NOTE: There is a change of days for Miss Laitl & Mrs Slate- check the overview for details.

Thank you for your support.

Keep safe

Miss Laitl & Mrs Slate

The RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch 2021

Here is another resource that you can use to help you enjoy the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend.  It includes instructions on how to make homemade bird food and feeders, a link to help you record your results and a link to a live webcam where you can see and have a go at identifying the birds as they visit the feeders.

I really hope that you enjoy taking part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch!
