We all enjoyed taking part in Space Week. We shared stories, designed alien underpants and made 2D rockets.
Thank you families for all your harvest donations. They have been collected by Tameside East Food Bank today. All your support at this difficult time is truly appreciated! We will let you know the final weight.
Here is this week's home learning. Please upload anything you complete to Seesaw as we love to see all the fun things you are doing at home.

Year 4 enjoyed their planting session with Mrs Anson yesterday! First we watched "The Promise" - an urban fairy tale of a young thief who tries to snatch an old woman's bag. She finds she can't have it without giving a promise in return - to plant acorns for future generations. Later, Year 4 gave their own promises to nature by planting acorns or conkers, which they had collected and brought into school during the week. We are looking forward to observing the plants over time. Mrs Blomeley.
Year 4 enjoyed picking their pumpkins yesterday! Thanks to the PTFA they were able to buy one to take home to carve and decorate. We are looking forward to seeing the finished pumpkin trail when they return them to school! What a brilliant idea! Mrs Blomeley
Year 4 took on Miss Mainprize's Challenge Me event yesterday! They earned their stickers by running around the playground for ten minutes! Well done everyone! Mrs Blomeley
Y6 have been inspired by artist Keith Haring this week and have produced some different 'street art' in the same style as him.
Have a look at our work on the attached file.
Today we had fun choosing our own pumpkins to take home! Happy Halloween!
