Bronze Award winners

Well done to the children who won their Bronze Award today.

As the whole class now have Bronze we will enjoy a class treat next wek.

Well done everybody.

Urban Dance Festival

Well done to all the children who took part in the Urban Dance Festival yesterday. We came 4th overall and also won a Team Spirit Award. Our year 6 children couldn't wait to hold the huge trophy today.

What a relief!

As part of our geography topic we have learned about Ordnance Survey symbols and maps including contour rings to show height on a map. We have then worked collaboratively to create relief maps. They look amazing.

Author Workshop Sarah Horne

Year 6 enjoyed their online session with author Sarah Horne today. She wrote and illustrated "The Firefly's Light." Today we had a go at creating her crab character- they were crab-solutely amazing!

Creative Art

Year 4 had to hone their artistic skills this week by recreating a famous building. Can you figure out where they have drawn?

Mathletics superstars!

Marvellous Mathletics by Year 3 children especially to our GOLD award winner- the first child to achieve a gold certificate in the whole school!

S’mores, ice and hot chocolate!

It was a chilly forest school session but we warmed up by playing games, making whittled Santa Clauses and having hot chocolate and delicious s'mores. Everyone enjoyed finding the "ice sculptures"!

Disney Football Fest

Some of our Year 2 girls took part in the Disney Football Fest on Thursday. They loved dressing up as their favourite Disney characters and played some great football matches against Parochial and Hurst Knoll winning both of their games without conceding any goals. Well done girls!

Y6 Star of the week 1-12-23

Well done to our superstars Summer and Theo this week.

I was very impressed with the whole class during our evolution workshop but Theo particulary impressed me with his knowledge and enthusiasm.

Summer has been finessing her basketball skills in PE.

Faye and Amelia are our Good to be Green winners.

Lucy and Jake won the Vocabulary Ninja Award for their ambitious vocabulary in their writing.

A huge well done to all of our Bronze Award winners- we only have a few left until the whole class have Bronze.

Awards

Well done to these children who were awarded a head teachers award, a good to be Green pencil and a swimming badge! Year 3 also won the sports trophy for this week! Take a look at our sports leaders holding the trophy for the class.
