Healthy Wraps

Today, as part of our design and technology focus, the children used their cutting, folding, grating and peeling skills to create healthy wraps. The children were encouraged to try new foods to help their understanding of a balanced diet. The children ate their wraps and evaluated them. Brillliant job year 2, some noticable cooks!

Board games in DT

In DT we had to choose a target audience and create a board game either based on evolution or surviving year 6. The class did some market research by playing and reviewing existing games. They then had a brainstorming session with their team thinking of 4 different ideas. They shared these ideas with their peers to get some constructive feedback to make a final design. They have really enjoyed making their board games.

They all look fabulous- well done!

Good to be Green Brunch.

Our wonderful pupils have been chosen to have brunch with Mrs Parker for being green all term. They have been Ready, Respectful and Safe everyday and we are super proud! Well done.

Basketball matches

Year 6 have learned so much in their basketball lessons with Mr Williams this term. They are very knowledgeable about the rules and different positions and tactics. We finished the topic with some matches today. It will be so easy to pick a team next term. Well done to Sam who won the Sport Star award today.

Celebrating Chanukah

Year 3 enjoyed listening to a Zoom about how Jews celebrate an important festival. They listened to the story of Chanukah and in class we looked at the special Jewish objects.

Great Fire of London Outdoor Learning

Year 2 enjoyed cooking damper bread and making s'mores as part of their topic The Great Fire of London. The children made houses based on the wooden ones from Pudding Lane and we found out how quickly the fire can spread from one house to another when they are close together.
